About ADS-2022
The 3rd Bi-Annual African Diaspora Symposium (ADS-2022), which shall run back to back with the 9th Annual Kenya Diaspora Homecoming Convention (KDHC-2022).
It is a 3 day event is organized by The Africa Diaspora Alliance (AfDA – under formation) and the Kenya Diaspora Alliance and targets diaspora communities, their families locally, investors, corporates, professionals, embassies, students, support organizations, service providers among other stakeholders.
It is inspired by four major repositories:
i) The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
ii) The Addis Ababa Agenda of Action (2015)
iii) The African Union 2063 Agenda
iv) African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA)

Goals and Objectives of ADS-2020
To create an interface between the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and the 6th Region Diaspora African to debate dialogue on how partnership and collaborations can be leveraged at scale to support Africa’s Economic Recovery Post-COVID.
To put out a high-level Statement that provides Member States with policy
recommendations about how to harness the power of the 6th Region Diaspora African to address current investments, health, education and Human resource management
challenges and to ensure lifelong opportunities for all.
To develop actions and relevant partnerships that are aimed to help African Member States to develop system-wide strategies in the context of shaping the Africa’s transformation and economic rise post COVID-19 pandemic.
